Become a Freelancer Online

Disclaimer: The link provided MAY contain affiliate links. Upwork is a platform used by many freelancers. It connects freelancers to clients. For example, a client would post a job, for a full-time data entry clerk, from either a particular location or any location with the language requirements. A freelancer would then assess the job posting, and apply if they meet the requirements. Now Upwork doesn't only have jobs for data entry clerks. It can be anything. From long-term jobs to short terms and even gigs. There are even commission-based jobs. This is probably my favourite of all the freelancer platforms because I believe it caters to beginners a lot. So, how can I join?  Registering with Upwork is very easy. All you need to is sign up, and create a freelancer account. The process is very easy. You will need to upload a very clear and professional photo of yourself, to upload, so get that camera ready. Can I use my phone or do I need my computer? So for the majo...

Remote Microjobs at home, Globally

Disclaimer: The links posted may contain affiliate links. Where to earn money, by completing Micro-tasks? There are a couple of trustworthy sites, that I used to earn money, by completing micro-tasks. Some of them used UHRS which stands for Universal Human Relevant System. Some of them may require you to complete simple tasks, for individuals. These websites include: Microworker Clickworker RapidWorkers Picoworkers Quadrant Resource Hive Micro These are the sites that I have personally joined and used. Note: All of these are pretty much the same in terms of the type of jobs. Meaning they are all microtasks. Quadrant Resource and Clickworkers, both use UHRS. With UHRS, you can earn a small fee per HITS, but the good thing is, each HIT takes about 30 seconds to complete, so ...

Where Can I find Remote Jobs?

Disclaimer: The links provided MAY contain affiliate links. Notice: This post would be updated when new websites become available. Top Online Job Boards Offering Remote Jobs for Global Applicants When it comes to finding remote jobs online, the process can feel both incredibly simple and frustratingly complex. A quick Google search will reveal dozens of job boards, but you’ll often discover that many of them cater primarily to applicants from select regions—most commonly the United States, Canada, or Western Europe. For those located in countries like the Philippines, India, Trinidad and Tobago, or other parts of the world, it can be discouraging to find so many listings marked "U.S. only." However, the good news is that there are several legitimate online job boards that welcome international applicants and actively promote remote work opportunities from companies around the globe. While some positions do require prior experience, others offer entry-level roles and even tra...

Is Working From Home Worth It?

Is Working from Home Right for You? Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the idea of working from home full-time felt almost like a myth to me. Sure, I had heard of people occasionally working remotely when they were under the weather or needed a day out of the office, but a fully remote job? That seemed rare—if not entirely out of reach. That all changed in 2020, when the pandemic upended the global job market. Like many others, I faced unexpected unemployment as countless businesses struggled to survive the economic downturn. I sent out what felt like endless resumes, only to find myself competing against hundreds—sometimes thousands—of other candidates for just a single position. It was during this time of uncertainty that I discovered the world of remote work. At first, I was skeptical. Could people really earn a sustainable income working from their homes—anywhere in the world? It sounded too good to be true. But after weeks of research and reading testimonials, I realized: yes, th...
